The picture used of the controller is an example of the finished look, due to the nature of wood and wood grain each controller will have a slightly different finish and can result in a darker and lighter finish or different wood grain pattern then the one pictured.

The Pitch bend wheel assembly is an original replacement part
The expression pedal socket is 6.5mm and is TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) and will work with standard pedals
if the pedal has other functions you will need to turn these off
will only work with expression pedals and will not work with foot switches
The wheel can be set to send pitch bend message or changed to send control change message.
When the wheel/pedal is moved the display shows the output CC value 0 - 127.
The CC number and the channel number can be changed by using the display and small button located on the USB side of the box.
These Setting are stored and remembered when powered off.

Can be used to control Ableton Live and other DAW software that allows MIDI learn/mapping, and also most device's that uses MIDI CCs .

Pitch bend Wheel
when used with a DAW only set the controller as an input device and not as an output device
The USB cable is for USB MIDI but is also needed to power the controller when using the 5 Din socket
and need to be plugged into a USB port or a USB plug socket (phone charger plug)
the controller will auto calibrate each time the controller is powered on and will display CAL, do not move the wheel while it does this.
Setting the Control change number (when in control change mode)
To set the CC# that the wheel controls press and hold the small button located on the USB side of the box and the display will show "CC-"
Now move the wheel to the number of the CC you want it to control, then let go of the button and the display will show 'CC-' then flash the new CC number that the wheel will be set to.
Example
The cc# number is currently set to 11- expression and you would like to change it to cc number 74- frequency cut off (filter) you would hold in the small button on top of the box and move the wheel until the display shows number 74, you would then release the small button and the display will show CC- then flash 74 and the cc of the wheel is now set to 74.
Tip: If you find it difficult to stop on the exact number, for example you are trying to stop on 10 but it only changes between 9 and 11 go to 30+ then back down and you should be able to stop on 10.
Changing the channel of the controller (channel numbers 1-16)
changing the channel is done the same way as the CC but you press the small button two times and keep the button held in on the 2rd time and the display will show “CHA” (channel ) now move the wheel to the number of the channel you want it to be set to,
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “C” and the new channel number of the wheel.
Changing between Pitch bend and control change mode
press the small button three times and keep the button held in on the 3rd time
the display will show “ptb”(pitch bend)
To turn pitch bend on move the wheel all the way up, the display will show ON
to turn pitch bend off move the wheel all the way down,
the display will show OFF
ON = pitch bend is on and control change is off.
OFF = pitch bend is off and control change is on.
