The controller has 8 expression pedal socket inputs
which are 1/4" (6.35mm) and are TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) and will work with standard pedals, if your pedal has other functions you will need to turn these off
When a pedal is moved the display shows the output CC value.
The CC number,MIDI Channel and RANGE of the pedals can be changed by using the display and small button located on the USB side of the box.
There are 5 presets each store the 8 pedal cc numbers and range, totalling 40 pedal presets (8x5).
Changes made to a preset are automaticity stored and remembered when powered off.
no extra software is needed.
Each pedal can also be set to a different channel allowing control of multiple devices,
The controller can use both USB and DIN MIDI at the same time allowing you to control DAW software with a pedal and a hardware device with another.
The USB Cable is also needed to power the unit when only using the DIN socket and needs to be plugged into a USB port/power hub or plug socket (phone charger plug).
The controller Can be used to control Ableton Live and other DAW software that allows MIDI learn/mapping, and also most device that use MIDI CC's
(please refer to the manual of your device for the CC numbers).

The USB cable is for USB MIDI but is also needed to power the controller when using the 5 Din socket
and need to be plugged into a USB port or USB plug socket (phone charger plug)
Any special functions on the Expression pedal need to be turned off for the controller to work correctly
Setting the CC number
To set the CC# press and hold the small button located on the top of the box, the display will show "CC-"
Now move the pedal to the number of the CC you want it to control,
then let go of the button and the display will show 'CC-' then flash the new CC number of the pedal
Example
the cc# number is currently set to 74 - frequency cut off filter and you would like to change it to cc number 11- expression) you would hold in the small button on top of the box and move move the pedal until the display shows number 11, you would then release the small button and the display will show CC- then flash 11 and the cc of pedal is now set to 74.
Tip: If you find it difficult to stop on the exact number, for example you are trying to stop on 10 but it only changes between 9 and 11 go to 30+ then back down and you should be able to stop on 10.
Display the current CC number of the pedal and the preset number
Press the small button TWO times and keep the button held in on the 2nd press and the display will show “dSp” (display) Now move the pedal and the display will show the current set cc number
Then release the button to show the preset number and channel
Changing all pedal channel numbers (1-16)
The channel is changed the same way the cc# is changed but you press the small button THREE times and keeping the button held in on the 3rd press and the display will show “CHA” (channel all) now move any pedal to the number of the channel you want all the pedals to be set to
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “c” and the new channel number
Changing the preset (1-5)
Press the small button FOUR times and keep the button held in on the 4th press and the display will show “PrE” (preset) Now move the pedal to the preset number you what to change to
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “PrE” then the preset number
Changing the Low range of a pedal (0-127)
Press the small button FIVE times and keep the button held in on the 5th press and the display will show “LO” (low)
Now move the pedal you want to change the low range of and move it to the number you want it set to
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “LO” and flash the low range of the pedal
Changing the high range of a pedal (0-127)
Press the small button SIX times and keep the button held in on the 6th press and the display will show “HI” (high)
Now move the pedal you want to change the high range of and move it to the number you want it set to
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “HI” and flash the high range of the pedal
Changing the channel of only one pedal (channel numbers 1-16)
(if there is more than one pedal)
changing just one pedal channel is done the same way as all the channels but you press the small button seven times and keep the button held in on the 7th time and the display will show “CHI” (channel Independent) now move a pedal to the number of the channel you want that pedal to be set to
Then let go of the small button and the display will show “c” and the new channel number of only that pedal
